- Under Required Accounts, click Authenticate Instagram Account.
3. You'll see a pop-up window reminding you of the prerequisites for connecting your Instagram account, as well as a reminder that you'll always be in control and can unlink your Instagram account at any time. When you're ready, click Continue to Facebook.
4. You should now see a Facebook login pop-up. If you don't see it, double-check that your browser allows pop-ups.
5. In the pop-up window, input your Facebook login credentials and allow the requested permissions.
6. After logging in, you may be prompted to complete a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) step as an extra security measure. Your 2FA credentials must be entered to be able to connect successfully.
📝Note: Due to Facebook's acquisition of Instagram, you'll be prompted to log in using your Facebook account. You have the option to review the third-party permissions that you'll be providing to your partnering agency or brand. All the requested permissions must be enabled to connect your account. The data that is collected will be read-only.
After logging in and allowing the requested permissions, you should be returned to your Connect Accounts page, and should now see that your Instagram has been successfully authenticated.
